The Meaning of the Season

“See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” Matthew 23:38-39

Hello,

I hope you are staying in God.

There are snippets of information here and there about what’s happening around the globe. Some are focused on what caused the epidemic, others are coming up with variations of the cure, while some others are about staying indoors, helping people to remain sane and safe. Let’s not forget the different theories of life post-Covid and how the world would change. With all this information flying about and we are all indoors, I hope, what does this season mean?

Could it be a time to play?

Or a time to build upon much-needed skills?

Or a time to be with family?

Or time to start that side-hustle?

Or is there something different in the heart of the Father for us?

We could spend the time arguing, fighting, complaining, and worse, worrying; or, we could take time out to seek God’s face. Jesus wasn’t cursing Jerusalem when he made the statement in the verses above, He was telling the truth. They didn’t know the time of their visitation or what made for their peace; in essence, they had missed it. That cycle will not be repeated in our lives.

In the midst of all that’s happening, let us take out time to go to the Father. His throne room is accessible, and He is always waiting for us. Let us take the situations in and around us to Him, asking for His plans for us. Plans for now and after this, because there will be an after. The question is, would you have come out the same or stronger and wiser for your chosen place of refuge?

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide us into the presence of the Father, where peace is available in Jesus’ name.

Till next time, be transformed!!
